Hearing Texas “icon” Ray Wylie Hubbard tell a story, it almost sounds like a song… one inspired by life’s roadside stops.At 73 (he just played the Opry for the first time, just released what might be his coolest album yet called “Co-Starring”, with an even cooler lineup of guests, and on the smash pop-country label “Big Machine” no doubt), Ray’s no intention to stop writing now. “I just didn’t want to peak too early.” he jokes.
